The Bedford Fulton Chapter of Pheasants Forever has planned its 2010 fundraiser for Saturday, Sept 4th starting at 11:00 am at the Everett Sportsmen’s Club. The event will start with a 5-stand clay shoot followed by lunch at 1:00. Clay shooting and lunch will continue throughout the afternoon in conjunction with hunting dog demonstrations, dog training seminars, raffles, and a silent auction.
Raffles will consist of a Mossberg International over/under 20 gauge, a beautiful handmade quilt, and the general raffle includes home décor and outdoor items. On the silent auction there will be items such as wildlife prints, a set of duck decoys, and hunting and fishing trips. Pictured above are just some of the items that you will see at this event.
Funds raised through events like this have made it possible for the chapter to host annual mentored youth pheasant hunts, youth clay shoots, and the planting of many acres of wildlife habitat on state games lands in Bedford County.
